ARTWORKs

A curated selection of original works that explore the intersection of tradition and contemporary expression. Each piece reflects a meticulous process, blending refined techniques with modern artistic sensibilities.

"Silver Girls Series"

This series explores the luminous beauty and inherent fragility of silver leaf, a material deeply rooted in Japanese decorative tradition. Each work is created through a meticulous process that combines time-honored techniques, developed in kimono craftsmanship, with a contemporary visual language. The application of silver leaf in dialogue with silkscreen printing requires exceptional precision and control, resulting in compositions that shift in tone and depth as light interacts with the surface. Through this interplay of materiality and perception, the series invites viewers to experience the tension between permanence and impermanence.

"Zodiac Sign Series"

This series reinterprets the mythology and symbolism associated with the twelve zodiac signs, reconstructing them as contemporary visual expressions. Each piece captures the unique personality and narrative of its respective sign through composition, color, and the rhythm of line. By merging elements of ancient astrology with modern aesthetics, the series explores universal themes that transcend time and culture, reflecting humanity’s enduring imagination.

The collection continues to evolve through new approaches and techniques, offering an ever-expanding dialogue that invites anticipation for future developments.

"CURLYs Series"

The Curly Series emerged from a collaboration with the hair salon MEY and features characters distinguished by their permed hairstyles. Through bold colors and minimal line work, each piece accentuates subtle variations in hairstyle and expression, celebrating individuality and diversity within a playful, pop-inspired aesthetic. This series explores themes of personal identity and self-expression through hair, while reflecting on the relationship between individuality and collective culture in contemporary society.

"Face "

The Face Series presents bold close-up portraits that amplify the emotions conveyed through gaze and expression. Each work features vibrant gradients within the hair and eyes, creating a sense of depth while maintaining a strikingly pop aesthetic. These compositions, balancing anonymity with presence, reflect the tension between individuality and universality in contemporary identity.

This series was also introduced as a limited-edition T-shirt at the Dohjidai Gallery exhibition, further exploring the intersection of art and fashion.
